So yesterday I went to the rec center to swim. The womens locker room was closed for some repair work, we had to use the staff locker room which was down the hall a ways. They did have carpets along the way from the locker room to the other locker room, but they had big gaps between them, and apparently they had just waxed the floors in that part of the building. I think you can guess where this is going - I come out of the pre-pool shower with wet bare feet, take a step off the carpet onto the freshly waxed floor . . . it happened so fast! And I have one very sore and bruised butt today.
