So yesterday, after yet another successful night of sleep (PJ party) with my love, I went home for a little break. It turned into 6 hrs of sound quite sleep. I came back at 1030 and stayed until this morning. He slept both nights very well. Now for the real update. Brad is doing to good to go to Coastal Rehab here at the hospital. He has been taken off the IV pain meds. He had the last JP drain taken out today. He still has the wound vacuum (probably will have that a couple/few more weeks). He still has the tube to the small intestines. He still has the TPN (feeding tube). He also still has the pic line for antibiotics. He has been walking and sitting. Still really tired/weak. He still has a lot of pain and tenderness, but that will all get better with time. Over all he is doing wonderful.
