So, yesterday morning a 3 inch long scorpion dropped out of a towel I picked up from my bathroom floor. Then last night, after dispatching the first one to his eternal rest, I got my come-uppance. Another 3 incher stung me while I lay in my bed. Excuse me? The bathroom is right next to the bedroom, and you better believe I slept in the darn living room last night. Poor Jesse slept in a chair til I finally got the courage up to go back into my bed. Lord, have mercy, I think I might be leaning toward having them spray around the outside of the house. Someone tell me theres another way. Or assure me its really okay to spray, please. I mean, there was a sun spider on the front screen door the night before, (they are drawn racing toward the light. Have to close the main door after dark so the sun spiders dont sneak in under the screen door). I am getting to where I just cant hack these nasty creatures in the house anymore. Dont know what I would have done without Jesse last night when I got stung. I mean, in my BED? Ive been here over ten years, and have NEVER sprayed a poison anywhere. It so goes against my gut to spray, but I just dont know how much more of this I can handle. Now Im starting to walk around like Sprite, eyes on the floor. No wonder when shes been on my bed with me shes been looking over the edge with trepidation I could feel. God knows how many more scorpions are in my room. If these two were babies of the monster lobster/scorpion just outside my bedroom door, Im in trouble. They have huge....litters. Mommy!
