So yesterday, my friend Chad Lebo posted in my thread about being home from Vega$ that Reality sucks. So not only did I have to post this song, Back to life, back to reality Back to life, back to reality, I had to relay this adventure from yesterday. My vehicle is currently in the shop getting a new battery. Thats because it was dead when I went to start it Wednesday and then dead again yesterday! Well after charging it with my mom - Janet Whalens car early yesterday afternoon, I went to lunch at Aurelios Pizza of Lockport. Well when I walked out, the battery was dead again. So this time my brother-in-law, David Drabek came and gave me a much appreciated charge! Then, after stopping to make an appointment for today to get a new battery, I went through the drive in at Harris Bank to deposit an extra $100 that I thankfully had from Vega$ for bills. Well I go to put the $100 and the deposit slip in the tray, and whoops, there it goes!! Blowing out of the tray and right toward the creek!! It must have been a sight to behold as a 50-year old Fat Man sprang out of his vehicle to chase down the flying Benjamin!! But I got it before it disappeared into Miline Creek!! So the money got deposited and my vehicle restarted fine a couple of times last night and this morning. But I had to laugh, since yes... I had my Fantastic Birthday Trip to Vega$, but now I was back to freezing as I charged my vehicle in frozen Illinois and chasing money in the wind!! I was certainly Back to Reality!! :-D
