So yesterday this guy came into the shop. theres this kid that my daughters go to school with, he said, and began looking for clothes he could get for the kid, whose feet were showing through his current shoes, whose pants were a lot too short, and who was obviously having a rough time of it. he wanted to get him some really nice clothing - stuff that looked new and would hopefully last him for a little while. in a bit he came to the register with a stack of clothes. another customer was on her way out the door when she heard the man talking about this kid, and she turned around, reached into her purse and threw ten bucks on the counter. here, she said. i want to contribute to this. this is wonderful. that kind of stuff is awesome.
