So yesterday turned out to be an interesting day but in the end it - TopicsExpress

So yesterday turned out to be an interesting day but in the end it was successful and joyful with a lesson in trials to be learned in not giving up. It started out getting denied by immigration for my permanent residency after spending hours preparing the paperwork for it. It seems they dont have any grace period even when youre only day over your FM3 expiration. So now I have to pay for another 4 years to get my permanent residency if I even want it anymore because we all know how NOT fun immigration can be! Minutes after that as I was going to pick up some door donations in a lumber yard and I got charged by four security dogs. Thankfully only one of them rammed my leg and they left me alone because I didnt show any fear. I could see the attack happening in my mind seconds before so I was mentally prepared for it. After this is when the day started to get better and this is where the lesson is learned. We were able to get Cheryl Connors and Brian Connors doors donated to the two homes that are we ALL helping. One of the homes got a Thirst No More water filter installed and while we were there we realized that Magdelena needed wood to get her store up and running again that was destroyed by the hurricane. Thank you Jay Vazquez for your amazing help with that effort and rising up to the occasion even after your own interesting days. A prayer was answered too! For weeks weve been praying and trying to get somebody over there to estimate the completion of the roof and flooring for her house. Also for days Ive been trying to get some t shirt donations to my girlfriends brother in law. So he finally contacted me and said that he happened to be in the same neighborhood and that he will come over to get the t-shirts at Magallanes house. To my surprise when he gets there I find out that he is also building homes and is able to do the estimate for her house! So now we have that and are able to start raising donations to help her and Maggy Sanchez complete their home! We need about $3000 to finish this project for them. Your donations are welcome! 12 hours later the day ended with getting Jays bed donated to Asuzcenas two daughters who were sleeping on a hard wood surface and only patio cushions. They were so excited to sleep on something soft finally! So the lesson was even though your days may start out bad with perseverance you can find success and joy in the end that will help you bless others and give you sweet rest at the end of the day. Never give up no matter what. You are a champion and your life is able to bless others!
