So yesterday was funny. I went with my uncle glenn to his dads place. its a push place, not a place to really sit. So, there was only 2 of us and alot of ground to cover. we made a plan, and the plan worked, i chased a doe right to him, but a tree got in the way! Damn!! So we thought that was it over and done for the day. But, we decided to walk to the back corner one more time just for the hell of it, and sure enough, walked up on 2 doe, but they ran out across a cow pasture, couldnt shoot. So ok, at that point were all frustrated and discouraged thinking that was definately it, no chance now...WRONG! Walking out of the woods, we see a doe standing in a wide open lane in the gully, He puts scope on her, BAM, we thought she was hit, but with the gun shot, deeer starting running alll over, 5-6 maybe more of them..One was a nice buck, i lit up 2 rounds at him, another couple at a doe, I was quite sure i missed them both, so i started reloading my gun just in case and wouldnt ya know this dumb doe comes sneaking out of a wood pile in front of me, I shot and missed once, then the second shot dumped her in the field!! :D
