So yesterday was one of the worst days in my life and Jordans life in 19 years. I opted to have the ER load her with Dilantin to stop her nonconvulsive status episode, and it did just that and caused her to have what looked like dystonia all day yesterday. We are both bruised and beaten and exhausted from all the violent body movements it caused. Ive not seen anything worse before in my life. My heart was broken. She is still asleep from yesterday--probably burned off 5000 calories and needs to just rest. My thoughts kept returning to those of you who have movement disorders, and all I can say is YOU ARE ALL HEROES! I cant believe this is what you must endure and what your family must endure. Hunter Klepinger, you are one of my new heroes, buddy. Next time I see you and your sweet family, get ready for some major hugs and kisses. You all inspire me to be a better person!
