So, yet again another video of EVIE, our 9 and a half month old GSP criss weimerana! When we first got EVIE she hates water with a passion, she would even avoid puddles, we tried everything to get her in the water, and she could not stand to be out of her depth, then I spoke to a gun dog trainer who said make her want the stick or the toy or whatever your throwing in the water so much that she couldnt bare to part with it, so about two months ago, I threw a stick in the deepest part of the river, and have her tons of encouragement, and hey presto, she just went in and swam after it! I can not believe how much trust the put in us, to assure them its safe, I love my puppy who is almost a year old to the moon and back! Here a video of yesterdays antics in the water. She is my little waterhorse!
