The support of the fans has influenced his decision.” “Suarez see it as likely that he’ll sign a renewal (extension) to the contract that binds him to Liverpool.” If true, the news and contract signing will put end to a summer of transfer saga, who had previously made clear his intention to leave Liverpool for Premier League rivals Arsenal. However, Liverpool’s reluctance to let the forward leave Merseyside seems to be holding firm and Suarez may have to accept a new deal at Anfield. He is most likely to agree to signing a new deal at Liverpool that allows him to leave in the summer of 2014 with a buy-out clause, which he has falsely claimed was in his current contract. Brendan Rodgers will now hope Suarez can be part of his plans to regain Liverpool’s position in the Champions League.
