So, you ask me to recommend a nail tech for your salon and I send you a great girl. You then tell her that pushing back the cuticle and cleansing the nail before any application of product is a waste of time, then you tell her that use of primer and base gel is also a waste of time. You then tell her that for a qualification she should go to another school and finish off her day with you by telling her to come back to me to learn how to do another service and get in touch with you when training is completed!!! Now let me set you straight my fellow tech/beauty therapists 1. I am a fully qualified trainer and Master Nail Tech, certified by 3 different brands. 2. I certify my students and prepare them for VCTC exams and qualifications (am qualified and authorised for that too) which it is then their choice to sit for or not. 3. It is not a waste of time to follow proper, professional procedure in nail prep and hygiene which we do with each and every client and what i teach my students to do with their customers. 4. You do not use my Gel System, so how are you an authority on application procedure? 5. Many of my clients come to me because they have had problems with nail techs like you and with me and my products we do not have lifting, we do not have fungus and we do not have reactions at all. 6. It is very unprofessional to behave in the way you did.. you should not criticise your fellow nail techs, you should not critics their products and you should not ask for a tech trained by me to come and assist you in your business if you have such low regard for me and my work. Id like to ask you, what training have you had? what brand has told you that these essential steps are a waste of time? Who has made you such an authority in the nail industry? It is nail techs like you that cause problems for the rest of us, who invest in our training and actually KNOW what were talking about. My advise to you :- Educate yourself first, then point fingers!
