So you gonna get all upset when a white cop shoots a black man but black men are getting killed in the hood everyday and no one gives a f-ck? :Facepalm: Okay, look... The first thing to understand is that these problems are different, and so the responses must be different. The factors that encourage violent crime in minority communities are largely systemic. Things like drug laws, the prison industrial complex, housing discrimination, and the allocation of educational resources all factor in. Change on such a grand scale can be hard and slow but there are activists, community organizers and yes even politicans who work on this EVERY DAY. It may not be yelling and taking to the streets but it is the exact opposite of not giving a f-ck. So how is everyday inner-city crime different from the situation in Ferguson? Well a simple answer is that gangbangers arent paid tax money to protect us while Policemen are. Youd be pissed if the Fire Department rolled up in your house with flamethrowers, or if Child Protective Services pulled up and started beating your kids, or if the Coast Guard tried to drown you so why is this so hard to understand?
