So you guys gave us feedback about which inspiration we should use, and we took your advice! We decided to go for a luminous skin simple portrait like the black and white inspiration image, and then use the curly hair look from the other inspiration image. This photo was taken in Siljas living room where there are large west facing windows that look out over Puget Sound and the Olympic mountains. The warm light came from the glowy sunset streaming into the house. I honestly LOVE natural light shoots SO much! This shot was achieved with nothing but a black backdrop with Silja sitting on the ground in front of it facing the window. So much fun creating new and interesting photos with the same subject! SO that being said, I love both the color and black and white, and I want to know which one you guys like better! Let me know in the comments, I love your feedback!
