So you have to just be quiet and accept that sometimes Some old black people will say things that Some young black people will find Highly side-eyeable. I let this older brother know that referring to me as just like that singer with the rough hair was offensive. I told him, with a smile on my face, that rough hair is another way of saying bad hair. I prefer kinky, nappy, or African hair. Btw, I understand that African can mean many things in reference to hair, but my hair type is pretty specific to Africa. He was completely oblivious as to why I might be offended by the term, and said well this singer has money, so I dont understand why her hair is so rough sometimes... As in nappiness in relation to being broke. Sir it was lovely to meet you! Night night :)
