So, you know how you find VSMs in the most unlikely places? Well, I am embarrassed to admit I found this.......in my own basement. Inherited my grandmas house and have lots of old furniture in the basement that I had forgotten about. I was poking around and found this. The decals are fairly worn, but can just make out the word Electric on the head. Suppose it must be a General Electric?? It has a cool metal foot pedal that is nailed onto the inside of the cabinet--but also has a little arm that swings down to be used as a knee pedal/control. I remember my Gram using this machine when I was small. She was a seamstress who started me sewing when I was 7 or 8 yrs. old.
