So, you may recall I pulled several seniors around Thanksgiving. One senior, in particular, really stole my heart. I named her Pinky. The first reason was shes such a cute, little thing...no bigger than my pinky! But secondly, it was because she had a large mass down one side of her breast chain. I was worried. I thought little one, I need you to fight...I need you to have the power of pink on your side. After a long and extensive surgery to remove the entire chain on one side of her body, I wait and prayed that she would pull through. If it were cancer, wed stand by her and do what the vet recommended. And so we waited. Waiting for test results is painful. Well, our prayers were answered! The tumors were benign!!! So today, at 10 years old, Pinky is ready for a fresh start! Call it a Christmas miracle, call it a gift from God, or call it the Power of Pink!!! Come meet this sweet girl tomorrow at PetSmart on CarMia Way off Midlothian Turnpike. Please share her story and lets help Pinky find a home for the holidays!
