So you think you will escape being Fracked? Westminster has made the 14th round of licences available for Fracking and in doing so has overridden the Scottish government who wanted more research into the impact and also be able to issue licences after consideration. Westminster has made it a free for all now and since the Tory government announced their intention to introduce a law which will hold that drilling companies do not require the consent of land or property owners to frack. This means that where licenses have been issued, some form of drilling is likely to occur. Most likely the companies that will be clamouring for the licences to screw the hell out of the opportunity will be multi-national but you can bet your last pair of knickers that there will be the landed and privileged classes of Cameron’s cadre of sycophants and backers involved with most of them as well as the major oil companies who will benefit, not joe public. Listed below are the Scottish Constituencies where Fracking WILL take place unless we vote YES to our Independence. You have been warned! Airdrie and Shotts Labour Pamela Nash (L) Angus OtherThis licensing round is especially politically significant for two reasons: 1) It’s the first since the government announced their intention to introduce a law which will hold that drilling companies do not require the consent of land or property owners to frack. This means that where licenses have been issued, some form of drilling is likely to occur. 2) It’s the last before next year’s general election. As this round impacts more than three quarters of the electorate, the fracking issue promises to be a significant voter issue.ed more resear Mike Weir (SNP) Ayr, Carrick and Cumnock Labour Sandra Osborne (L) Berwick-upon-Tweed Liberal Democrats Alan Beith (LD) Central Ayrshire Labour Brian Donohoe (L) Coatbridge, Chryston and Bellshill Labour Tom Clarke (L) Cumbernauld, Kilsyth and Kirkintilloch East Labour Gregg McClymont (L) Dumfriesshire, Clydesdale and Tweeddale Conservative David Mundell (C) Dundee East Other Stewart Hosie (SNP) Dundee West Labour Jim McGovern (L) East Dunbartonshire Liberal Democrats Jo Swinson (LD) East Kilbride, Strathaven and Lesmahagow Labour Michael McCann (L) East Lothian Labour Fiona ODonnell (L) East Renfrewshire Labour Jim Murphy (L) Edinburgh East Labour Sheila Gilmore (L) Edinburgh North and Leith Labour Mark Lazarowicz (L) Edinburgh South Labour Ian Murray (L) Edinburgh South West Labour Alistair Darling (L) Edinburgh West Liberal Democrats Michael Crockart (LD) Falkirk Other Eric Joyce (L) then (Ind) Glasgow Central Labour Anas Sarwar (L) Glasgow East Labour Margaret Curran (L) Glasgow North Labour Ann McKechin (L) Glasgow North East Labour Willie Bain (L) Glasgow North West Labour John Robertson (L) Glasgow South Labour Tom Harris (L) Glasgow South West Labour Ian Davidson (L) Inverclyde Labour David Cairns (L) Kilmarnock and Loudoun Labour Cathy Jamieson (L) Linlithgow and East Falkirk Labour Michael Connarty (L) Livingston Labour Graeme Morrice (L) Midlothian Labour David Hamilton (L) Motherwell and Wishaw Labour Frank Roy (L) North Ayrshire and Arran Labour Katy Clark (L) North East Fife Liberal Democrats Sir Menzies Campbell (LD) Ochil and South Perthshire Labour Gordon Banks (L) Paisley and Renfrewshire North Labour James Sheridan (L) Paisley and Renfrewshire South Labour Douglas Alexander (L) Perth and North Perthshire Other Pete Wishart (SNP) Stirling Labour Anne McGuire (L) West Aberdeenshire and Kincardine Liberal Democrats Robert Smith (LD) West Dunbartonshire Labour Gemma Doyle (L)
