So0o0o0o, the last month Ive been feeling down and having a hard time. This is my first time having an off season and I will admit, my bulking is…well, its working. Seeing myself heavier than normal, and with the shorter, darker, rainier days lately, Ive just been a bit meh-tired, lazy, and not so motivated to workout. It happens, especially after training hard for a long time and doing three competitions in four months. My body needs the break before I can give it my all again for my pro debut June of 2015. But in the meantime, when Im not spending every hour in the gym, Im trying to find motivation from other types of fitness that I enjoy-this weekend was great, I did workout, but I also did AcroYoga, hip hop, crossfit, and checked out the parkour gym in Vancouver. It is definitely a nice change to train around other people, when Im used to plugging in my headphones and lifting weights in my own little world. On Saturday, I actually took a step out of my comfort zone and did one thing a day that scares you and went to my first dance class in a year! It was actually more than a class, it was an audition for a hip hop crew and I made it! Im SO stoked to be a part of the Self Made Crew and get back into this side of my fitness lifestyle. Its been so long since Ive danced, and I cant wait to sweat it out soon on a dance floor near you! :D #thingsarelookingup #gonnagetmyswagon
