(Soap Box): Learning history is so critically important. Studying and understanding our past does not mean we are to get stuck there, but merely to provide a context for where we are and a compass for where we are going. While I marvel at the achievements of science and technology, I fear that our weighted bias toward their signifigance will only perpetuate the voids we see throughout society. Its no wonder so many people find it difficult to agree on fundamental truths, when those truths are so poorly defined and many are unaware of how theyve been illustrated throughout time. (Ok, Im done). #historydoesntlie
