Social Media Guidelines issued to assist College members. The use of social media is growing rapidly and the range of available applications is constantly expanding. Social media offer enormous potential benefits to health care, but those benefits must occur within the code of professional ethics as defined by the relevant regulatory and professional bodies. For College members these bodies are AHPRA and the College (ACRRM). The College has released the Guidelines for Use of Social Media in Rural and Remote Practice - to provide College members with a guide to the ethical, safe and responsible use of social media.
