Social Media Sales Executive Remuneration: R10000 - R15000 per month negotiable Cost to company Location: Cape Town Job level: Mid Own transport required: Yes Travel requirement: Occasional • Job description evly, one of South Africas leading social media marketing businesses, is looking for a talented, driven individual to join our Western Cape sales team based in Cape Town. The primary focus of this position is the acquisition and closing of sales and the retention and daily management thereof. Day to day responsibilities: Sourcing of new leads (as well as management and qualification thereof). Working closely with the sales and business development manager to optimise all opportunities created by marketing and lead generators. Conversion of leads into accounts/sales. Work with other departments to ascertain timetables, pursue costing/order form approval and follow the project through actual production and final delivery. Ensuring client satisfaction throughout evlys engagement with client. Ensuring a sound understanding of your clients social media strategy and give strategic insight. Proactively present conceptual work and opportunities to client. Closely track performance of the evly product at client level and report back to management any potential weaknesses, problems or threats. Key performance areas: Achieve monthly targets (to be reviewed quarterly). Consistent sales reporting. Ensuring that all sales processes are adhered to. Client acquisition. Client retention (sourcing of new opportunities within existing client base). Ensuring that clients needs are understood, interpreted and communicated accurately and that their expectations are managed at all times. Ensure that clients projects are delivered timeously and within budget. Ensure that evlys actions are in line with agreements, procedures and budgets, and reflect a unified and agreed point of view. Attendance and driving of weekly status meetings. Effective administration of account portfolio. Adhere to a maximum 36 hour response time to e-mails, leads, requests for quotes. Work closely with accounts department to ensure that all jobs are invoiced accurately and timeously. Maintain a professional work ethic in all dealings with clients and fellow colleagues.
