Social Security Institute to Develop System for Electronic Exchange of Documents Sofia, September 15 (BTA) - The National Social Security Institute (NSSI) said on Monday it will develop an integrated system for electronic exchange of documents relevant to compensatory payments from the public social insurance budget. The 496,000 leva project is financed under Bulgarias Operational Programme Administrative Capacity (OPAC), supported by the European Social Fund. It will be carried out in twelve months. A procedure will be launched to select a contractor. The integrated system is one of the OPAC priorities concerning the introduction of comprehensive administrative services by enhancing the compatibility of key registers in the public administration. The future system will make it possible to provide electronic administrative services involving the payment of financial compensation from the public social insurance budget and the issue of relevant documents by NSSI. It will considerably alleviate the administrative burden on employers and self-employed people, minimize potential errors and reduce temporal, human and financial expenses. Users will be able to receive feedback about the processing of information and documents they have submitted to NSSI. SN/VE // .
