Social Worker – Child Protection, Sunderland Our client has a locum job vacancy for a social worker to work within a child protection team based in Sunderland. This vacancy has an initial 3 month contract and the pay rate for this role is £28 per hour (limited company worker). Duties include: - Carrying out initial and core assessments - Providing section 17 support to families and children in need - Producing initial child protection conference reports - Applying for and obtaining emergency protection orders - Attending court and giving evidence when required Requirements: To be eligible for this role, you must have a degree within social work and be registered with the HCPC. You must also have at least 2 years recent post qualifying experience working within a similar role.
