Social Worker – Children and Families, Northumberland Our client currently has a locum job vacancy for a social worker to work within a children and families team based in Northumberland. This vacancy has an initial 3 month contract and a salary of £25 per hour (limited company worker). Duties include: - Undertaking parenting and risk assessments - Attending court and giving evidence when required - Carrying out home visits for monitoring purposes to promote the welfare of the children - Applying for and obtaining emergency protection orders Requirements: To be eligible for this role, all applicants must have a degree (or similar) within social work and be registered with the HCPC. You must also have at least 2 years recent post qualifying experience working within a similar role.
