Socialist Swedes Take to Private Health Insurance From article: Sweden, a country famous for a welfare state that has actually been trimmed back substantially in recent years, is experiencing a phenomenon unlikely to bring cheer to those Americans who think the answer to Obamacares problems is more government involvement in medicine. Tired of long waits and inadequate care, Swedes increasingly purchase private health insurance policies to gain access to the care the state cant provide. We are seeing this trend develop around the world - Canada, Britain, etc. These countries are cutting back on government programs. Two reasons: 1. Quality is terrible, so consumers want something else 2. Financially unsustainable; so government eventually forced to cut services or covered treatments Unortunately, people like Obama and Kasich have doubled down on socialized medicine completely ignoring history to do so.
