Sociopathy, Psychopathy, domestic violence, they all can have roots in animal abuse. I would never date anyone or be involved with someone who was intentionally cruel to animals. I understand there are farmers and hunters out there, and that is fine and valuable and respectable as long as it is done in a humane way. I dont want to hear about the process, be involved in it. I could not date anyone who kills animals for food. Thats just something I couldnt mentally handle, not only because of my empathy but because of working at the animal shelter and the veterinarian office in Mississippi where we would put 200 kittens, puppies, cats and dogs down a day because they were sick because people wouldnt get their pets their vaccinations, or get them fixed, because they thought animals were disposable and it was extremely traumatic to me to see thousands and thousands of precious animals be euthanized. Not only that, but seeing my horse die while I was down there, and my house pets that have had to be euthanized throughout the years. So, no, no more death than I have to deal with because I love animals too much. I dont regret being there for the animal shelter holocaust. I got to give love to the homeless, but it was brutal on me. And to date or marry another sadist? It. Will. Never. Happen. I would rather be single for the rest of my life.
