Solano Community College is proud to present the CashCourse! CashCourse provides financial education resources for colleges. It’s online, it’s free, it’s noncommercial, and it’s brought to you by The National Endowment for Financial Education? (NEFE?) – the only nonprofit foundation dedicated to inspiring empowered financial decision making for individuals and families through every state of life. As part of Student Loan Default Prevention, the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office has recommended CashCourse as it’s system-wide financial literacy product. The CCCCO will be working closely with NEFE over the next several years on the financial literacy initiative. Students may now access Solano Community College’s customized CashCourse school site by registering with CashCourse at the link provided below. How do you interest students in topics such as budgeting, saving, or student loans? Based on feedback from colleges and universities across the country, CashCourse has found that making these topics personal for students is one of the best ways to engage them.
