Soldier...GoodMorning...#pouringintoyou...Soldier... one thing God is not in need of is a coward soldier. For a lifetime we have belted out the soul stirring chant...Im a soldier in the army of the Lord. We have sang, We are soldiers in the army. We have to fight although we have to cry. We have to hold up the blood stained banner until we die. We shout we have our war clothes on. We are bonafide soldiers...oh we sing, jump and shout twenty- thirty minutes on Im a soldier. The true reality is...can God truly count on you when the going gets tough? When the storms of life are raging, can God still count on you to rely on Him to see you through your storm? When your problems pile up on you...family acting funny...bills are due...laid off from job...sickness in the body... Seems the whole world has ganged up on you...can you still be a brave soldier in the army of the Lord? Then the soldiers of the governor took Jesus into the common hall, and gathered unto him the whole band of soldiers. (Matthew 27:27 KJV). Have you pondered the thought or been distracted by the enemy to bail out...jump ship...give up...give in? Has the still, small voice of God rescued you and said, not now, soldier? Then the soldiers cut off the ropes of the boat, and let her fall off. (Acts 27:32 KJV). Have you seemed all alone, like you are the only soldier in the battle and the war is around the corner? Have you gotten yourself so deep in love that you ignore the neglect, the abuse, the mistreatment? Have you dug yourself so deep in debt that repayment means dodging and avoiding the debt collector? Have you drifted so far off that you have forgotten Whos child you are? No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier. (2 Timothy 2:4 KJV). Have your family and friends...your ride or die seemed to conveniently avoid you, forget about you, left you alone as you battle your wars alone? Have they seemed to walk on you and stomp on you and forgot you helped them when they were going through? And the soldiers also mocked him, coming to him, and offering him vinegar, (Luke 23:36 KJV). There are all kinds of soldiers at various levels, ranks and skills. Many buckle under pressure but there is a sergeant, a corporal, a captain a general who brings us back to the task at hand. When on the battlefield all dres in camouflage as to blend in with the environment. The enemy doesnt see you as a captain and say...oh, hands off, hes a captain. But God does. He knows. He knows because He has chosen His soldiers for the task at hand. He knows because no assignment is given without His approval. He knows because He trains each soldier. He knows because He is an all knowing God. Soldier...hang on in there. The sun will shine in the morning. This too shall pass. It wont be long before you can thrust your sword into the sands of time to study war no more. Tie a knot at the end of your rope and continue to hang on. Swim on soldier...the shore is at the break of daylight. Heads up!!! Shoulders back!!! Atten...hup!!! March soldier!!! March as to war!!! With the cross of Jesus going on before!!! March soldier!!! March soldier!!! Through it all...March soldier!!! Christ the Royal Master leads against the foe!!! See His banner go!!! Hes waving you on in!!! He has your mansion prepared. He has your robe ready...you see the streets of gold...walls of jasper..e on soldier...The Commander in Chief has set the order!!! Victory is yours today!!! Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. (2 Timothy 2:3 KJV)
