Soldier Profile: CSM Luther Thomas Jr., command sergeant major of the Army Reserve, presented MSG Jeremy Platt with the Meritorious Service Medal in Kaiserslautern, Germany. Platt received the award for his exceptional service in support of the general officer assignment advisory board (GOAAB) and the general officer promotion selection board (GOPSB) during his time at the General Officer Management Office located at Fort Knox, Ky. Platt’s wife, Linda, and daughter, Sydney, were also in attendance at the ceremony. Platt is now the assistant inspector general for the 7th Civil Support Command located in Kaiserslautern.
