Solutions from a creative mind. The Middle East. NOTE: OBVIOUSLY these will not be enacted by the current power status quo.... which leaves it to us, the grass roots, to take up the task of altering that status quo, to stop being so ... fearful, submissive, compliant, hopeless and nihilistic. ( i put this note in as some comments objected to a perceived idealism in these outlines, and I understand that view, yet it is incorrect and hence the note....) You could say these solutions represent a challenge to all of us. 1. Arrest Tony Blair and George Bush et al and try them for War Crimes. Show the world we mean to end this bullshit by making those responsible accountable. 2. Allow Iraqi grass roots Democracy to emerge instead of putting in US favoured Governments. Let them deal with the local issues, local violence. They will deal with IS within Iraq. They beat the US out there. They can handle IS if they are unified. Allow the Kurds in Iraq, Syria, TurKey to form a SINGLE STATE. The Kurds would deal with IS, very quickly. Syria has defended itself in spite of IS, the US, Saudi etc... 3. Remove ALL Western resource Corporations from Libya, Iraq, Afghanistan etc. Allow nationalisation of their resources. Offer constructive aid if requested. 4. Force Israel to disarm their nukes. Withdraw from Occupied Territories. Withdraw the settlements. 5. Allow Gaza and the Westbank to self Govern. Implement a Marshal plan to rebuild. The Palestinians resistance is not to be underestimated in terms of what could happen when they are free to build a real State. Without war. Before the 40,000 foreign fighters flooded in and started the civil war. 6. Remove ALL support for anti-Assad rebels. Let the Syrian grass roots recover and pursue the democratization processes peacefully, as they were doing. 7. Reduce the US Military budget and shift those resources to healing the US social issues. 8. End the UN Security Council Veto on all matters outside the scope of the direct Security issues. 9.Institute grass roots participative democracy in the US and UK. 10. Engage a world wide program of education and exploration to help parents engage with empathic parenting. 11. Cease ALL incursions into lands inhabited by Aboriginal peoples. 12. Change the Law that gives Corporations the status of a person before the Law.
