Somali Participation in The Fifth Annual Conference for Effective Partnership and Information Sharing for Better Humanitarian Action made me proud specially the Women role 3 Organizations like Adeso, SAACID and Dalsan Women Association their representatives were women the Conference was held at the Regency Hotel on Oct 13-15 under the patronage of the Kuwait Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah. UN Under- Secretary General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator Valerie Amos (Which i wished to meet :( too bad) representatives of multiple regional and international organisations, in order to discuss ways to improve strategic cooperation between participants and achieve better results. It was organized by United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) in partnership with the International Islamic Charitable Organization (IICO) and Direct Aid Pictures 1- Group picture of all the Participants 2- Minister Plenipotentiary Laila Negm Director of Health & Humanitarian Aid Department Official Technical Secretariat of the Council of Arab Health Ministers 3- Dr. Hani al Bana the co‑founder of Islamic Relief, the largest Western‑based international Muslim relief and development NGO 4-Me time ^_^ 5- Mr. Saeed Hersi Head of UNOCHA in GCC
