Those bags of khat have never been checked at the border by health departments for any pesticides, DDT or any other harmful chemicals in both countries. Everyday citizens in both countries die by consuming those harmful chemicals. Death certificates, if any, will say death by heart attack, stroke, kidneys failure but not what cause them. Who is the responsible for those citizens? Somaliland Gvt? Republic of Djibouti Gvt? Ethiopia doesnt want to loose millions, SL or Djibouti do not want to loose revenues from taxes. Citizens are addicted and will always buy khat. Ethiopia will kill us all one by one...heart attack.....stroke... etc... We should get up and stand up for ourselves...
