Some 2014 years ago There was a crowd, multitudes, gathering in the streets, up the hillside to a place called the skull, also known as Calvary. It was on this hill, where three crosses were to be set up , three men nailed to them, and all three would die, the sinners death....... There was something real special about the man in the middle. He was quiet, humble, gracious, loving and filled with mercy and forgiveness.... see this man in the middle was sent there by the God of the heavens. He had no choice but to go and hang between two thieves. It was to be THAT He become sin for all mankind. Including the two criminals whom He hanged between. One making railing remarks against Jesus, as the other rebuked him and defended the life of the Savior...... Jesus telling him , that that same day he would be with him in paradise.... even in Jesuss closing moments he saves another soul from the grip and guilt and penalty of sin..... crying out to God, forsaken, abandoned, nailed, thirsty , hurting and suffering for all sin. He held the weight of all sin upon his heart yet he cried out, father forgive THEM for they know not what they were doing to, him. Today he still looks beyond our faults and sees the need of our land and still saves today.
