Some Dun-Pikin updates: We had a great time at Clauss Feed & Farm Supply today with the Pony Rides and Petting Animals. Thanks Cindy for having us! We did not buy a new pony last night, but we are looking. Dublin is recuperating quietly in his stall. Standing under a fan with an endless supply of hay seems to suit him. Unfortunately all the weight he had lost, he has gained back. The vet will be back in 2 weeks to re-xray. When the vet comes back to re-xray Dub, we will have him check Brownie to find out if she is in foal or not. We are hoping for not. Etches is still lame. We really miss her in the lesson program. She is to be ridden, especially at the trot, but not in tight circles. Get Well soon Etches. All the students miss you! Our final Pony Pal Camp for the summer is this Monday August 5th. Pony Pal Camps are best suited for children ages 4-6 years old. They include a mounted lesson, a craft, and games. The camp runs from 9am until noon. Call 410-255-3918 if interested. The last week of Summer Camp begins August 12th-16th. We have a couple of slots open. Camp begins at 8am and ends at 4pm. Mounted lessons, mounted games, crafts, and games round out the day. Week long camps give young riders extra time in the saddle and exposes them to the daily routine around the barn. Call 410-255-3918 if interested. We have many opportunities for our students to learn and practice their riding skills. We have a need for another pony because our pony rides are going well.
