Some “Ivy League” league law school students are asking for more time to study for exams or for their professors to go easy on them because they are exhausted from demonstrating. Poor pampered babies, my heart bleeds for you. Not! Tell it to a Marine, Soldier, Sailor, Airman, Coast Guardsman and see how much sympathy you will get. We are raising a generation of pampered, spoiled brats who have no clue what adversity or hard work entails. To think that some of them will actually become lawyers… If I was still county prosecutor and hiring newly minted lawyers as assistant prosecutors, the first question I’d ask – “Did you ask your law school for extra time to study or the professor to show leniency grading your exams?” If the answer is yes, your resume would be tossed right into the circular file (waste basket) and you’d be pointed to the door. Id have no sympathy for you and I’d have no room in my office for lazy slugs. Somehow I don’t think Thurgood Marshall would have approve either!
