Some Members of Camera Club of Karnavati are going to PUSHKAR (RAJASTHAN) for photography of The Largest camels fair. This is a World famous fair for very good photography of people,traditional dresses of women, traditional turbens of Rajasthany men, the lives and daily life of the MAALDHARIS of camels ,the customs & culture of Rajasthan and much more for pictorial photography. For me Pushkar is KASHI for pictorial photography. Fair starts from the first day the month of KARTIKA to Purnima(Dev Diwali). The prime time of the fair is Dashmi(10 th day) of Kartika. The buying /selling of camels over after Dashmi. The MAALDHARIS then starts for their next destination. Our club members will start on 10/11/2013 and stay for two or three days. Then leave Pushkar for Ranakpur the Jain Temple. After the photography of the temple members will leave for Ahmedabad. There is an option for photography of Kumbhalgadh also and it is depend on members choice. All the members and non members can contact for further details about trip. Ashvin Patel.
