Some Moroccans still think colonization in #Morocco means French boots on the ground. Maybe they forget that the main premise of colonialism is economic exploitation. We are still being exploited by Europeans, so yes we are still colonized and there is a word for it: neo-colonialism. But perhaps this idea of neo-colonialism is just too complicated for some who need things to be visible for them to understand them? Those who have difficulty understanding Morocco is still colonized may also have difficulty understanding gravity since they cant see it or maybe they dont have a liver because they cant see it? Even the poor understand, it seems only the liberal elite cant...
