Some Thoughts on Toronto which was historically called, The Meeting Place by First Nation People... The first thing I noticed about Toronto is its cleanness, very little grafitti and very little trash. The second thing is its human diversity, it is truly an international city; its as if all of the people of the globe have merged into this one city in a relatively peaceful manner. It is not perfect, but better than any city that I have ever experienced. The energy I feel here is from welcoming to neutral, unlike many areas of American cities that vibrationally shout YOU ARE NOT WELCOME HERE. This is not imaginary this is something every person of color knows in their bones. To be outside of that cloud of the racial residue that haunts the American landscape is a welcome reminder that we humans can do better than what I have grown accustomed to living in the US. It is great to be reminded that there is a greater reality and that what we see right in front of us is not the whole of that reality--but just a fragment of it. To glimpse the whole forest instead of just the trees is a wonderful thing.
