Some UPDATES on the Rick Wolff event this coming Tuesday, Jan 20th. First, Ricks appearance before the Yale Political Union will be open to the public! This was a surprise as I had been led to believe that the YPL was a bit of a closed group. The YPU event will be a debate on the subject of Nationalization of Banks with Rick taking a pro-Nationalization stance. The venue is Sudler Hall in the William L. Harkness building at 100 Law Street. This is an ideal location right next to the large Yale parking lot on Temple Street, across from the New Haven main library; and a short 5 minute drive from our potluck dinner event with Rick at the Unitarian Society at 608 Whitney Ave. The time for the dinner at the UU is 5-7pm and the time for the YPU debate is 7:30pm. Please be sure to RSVP to me by this coming Friday, if you are planning to attend the dinner. The church kitchen can accommodate heating up our dinner offerings. See below for info on Rick, an interview with Bill Moyers on YouTube, and the website for Democracy at Work. ----------------------------------- Greens and Friends, Longtime, former New Haven resident and leading Marxist economist, Rick Wolff, will be making an appearance in New Haven on: Tuesday, January 20 @ 5-7 pm ---------------------------------------- at the Unitarian Universalist Church 608 Whitney Ave, in New Haven ------------------------------------------- The event will be a potluck supper.
