Some advice please! I have had a letter from a anonymous neighbour tonight saying she has listened to our dog bark continously for over a year (we have 2 dogs and not had them that long) and that if we dont deal with it she is reporting us etc etc to authorities and rspca, now we have two shih tzu and they do yap but only when all the other dogs in the neibourhood bark so they dont start it, now I have noticed that this week they have been extra yappy as the older one has had her first season and has been trying to have a little dabble of the other one practicing her moves lol meaning trying to have a bonk! And the younger one who is not a barker has been barking a bit more as doesnt want the older one bonking her. They are both females they get plenty of exercise and only left in the house on there own on a Friday for a longer period of time together for about 6 hours. Anyone know what I can do with this complaint, as it has really upset me, I dont know why the person could not just knock on my door. Or whats the best way of stopping them from barking, I have asked a few neighbours and they have nothing to complain about. Please help xx
