Some amazing figures - even excluding the 8020 shoeboxes that went to Zambia on Saturday we have 13,256 shoeboxes in cartons in the warehouse waiting to go. Not all of these have been checked by the volunteers at the Guildford warehouse, some have been brought to us in cartons from the Croydon area and we have collected some in cartons from Basingstoke, Maidenhead and Reading. However our volunteers have already checked over 10,000 boxes in the first week of operation alone and put them into nearly 1000 cartons. Do you know we had 102 volunteers in our warehouse today? This is a record. Well done everyone, you deserve a pat on the back! Some of these cartons will go off to Kyrgyzstan on Wednesday and some to Montenegro on Saturday.
