Some benefits of the clocks going back an hour is the delight of seeing earlier afternoon fall tree colors at the grounds of Sandy Hooks Lighthouse. The sun also sets at 4 :52 pm today, where one can observe a beautiful view of the Fort Hancocks Officers Row and horizon hues along the western bay! The Lighthouse tower itself is open starting at 1 pm with the last ascent at 4:30 pm where climbers (4 ft. or taller required) may see a panoramic sky of color. The forecast is for mostly sunny skies, however winds will be gusting to over 30 mph. ~cw
