Some call this request for pardon an example of what could turn out to be criming while white. A term with sarcasm that has come to mean that white people who do crimes always receive mercy. While that might be true in this case, I see a positive opportunity instead. Wahlberg is an influential person. Young people of all races look up to him. Give him a pardon, and make him an example of how turning a life of crime around for something better is worth the effort. Its a symbol that might end up making the world somewhat of a better place.
