Some candidates tell voters to vote for ONLY a select few. They are told NOT to vote for the whole council. It could cost them the election, as your giving someone else a vote. Is that really democracy??? Is voting only for your group/slate really serving the community? You do not have to vote for all, but vote for as many YOU, YOURSELF would like to vote for. VOTE for the person or people that will suite your community the best. VOTE for people that have the knowledge and background to do the job and do the job well! Slates and parties are tricky in municipal politics.
