Some close dear family members, and myself included have gone through the darkness of depression. Having gone through it, I can say there are a lot of people in the Christian community that look down on this and judge those that seek help. We need to extend love, and understand illness is not a weakness. We are all imperfect, but we are loved by a perfect God. Sometimes just being there and letting them know they are not alone is the best kind of help. Be loving, be kind, and take time to let others know you care.
