Some countries in #Africa, such as #Malawi, #Ethiopia, and #SouthAfrica demonstrated the positive impact of social protection schemes on #food security and #nutrition. In West Africa, there are pilot initiatives in #Burkina Faso, #Guinea, #Ghana, #Senegal, #Nigeria, #Togo (among others). Lessons learnt on coverage, #sustainability, institutionalization and impacts may be drawn from these initiatives.
