Some days ago, I lampooned Patrick Sawyer and the Liberian government for their recklessness in handling a delicate matter. I actually did a third series on him but could not share due to some reasons. However, I think I owe him and Liberia an apology. The very things I complained about is not just a Patrick Sawyer or Liberian affair. It is happening and has happened in Nigeria. How can you say a nurse who was quarantined escaped it and went to Enugu where she freely distributed the virus to 20 people. Ok tell me she didnt distribute it but merely had contact with them. And I ask is contact with a patience not one of the easy ways of contracting the virus? Our carelessness has further endangered 20 lives.
