Some days as a vet are really hard. Some days are almost impossible. Yesterday was one of those! As hard as you try to remain professionally detached so that you can carry on there are some animals ( and their owners) who touch your heart and you cannot help getting involved. Yesterday we, as a team, lost two of those animals. Both were taken by the most awful cancers. I wish to express my sorrow for there loss but also my thanks for the time I had with them personally. I will learn from them and strive to beat these horrible diseases. They are why we do this job and they will never be forgotten. You know who you are! Andrew
