Some days it really wears on me the constant weight of the government that is leaning on me - on all of us. The government which is supposed to represent us - which is funded by us - which is us, has turned into an army that works to defeat us all and turn us into captives who exist to serve the "almighty government". Why has it become so accepted that it is just the way the government works when a citizen attempts to request basic information and is told that access is granted for a price? The system is so corrupt and the system has become so perverted that when a citizen tries to get basic information they must either a) have super powers that allows them to request the data in the EXACT format that the government entity already has OR b)go along with the extortion and pay the money so that you can have access to the records of YOUR government that YOU are paying for. Days like today, I feel that pushing back against the government deck that is stacked against me/us is an impossible task BUT I know that somehow, someway I will find a way to keep forging ahead.
