Some days youre the windshield, some days youre the bug. Today I was the bug. Went to Ballwin (West St. Louis), Missouri for Hyundai. Drove a 2015 Santa Fe down, brought a 2015 Genesis AWD back. HELLUVA CAR! Theres where the trouble starts though. Had to put gas in the darned thing to get back here. First two times I tried the pump wouldnt put any gas in the tank. Even printed me two different receipts showing 0.00 gals, $0.00. Went in and talked to the cashier, and she said I wasnt putting the nozzle far enough into the tank. OK! Went back out and followed her instructions and it pumped $23 worth of gas into the tank. No problem.......right? WRONG..........EFFIN WRONG. Now my bank statement (online) shows the $23, but ALSO shows TWO $90 purchases before that on my debit card. HOW IN HELL did two $0.00 charges turn into two $90 purchases??? Either that station has some less-than-honest people working the counter, or their automated pump system has some major problems. Either way, Im getting new cards tomorrow, and if that station doesnt take steps to alleviate the situation, the next call they get will be from my lawyer, my bank, and my banks lawyer. By my math, I would have had to put 109.2 gallons of gas in a 2015 Hyundai Genesis. AINT FRIGGIN GONNA HAPPEN PEOPLE!! Ok.......Im off my soapbox now.
